and in all recent cases when rookie group members got covid it was because they didn't get vaccine yet

The ones I know about are BTS because it was announced, Rain and Kyuhyun from Super Junior because they both did vlogs about it, several members of NCT have gotten at least the first dose (Johnny, Jaehyun, Jaemin, Winwin... I know there's ore but I'd have to track down the post) and I believe I remember seeing someone retweet something about Sehun from EXO getting it.
I also believe the idols who have come back to the States (specifically Mark Tuan, Eric Nam, and the lead singer of The Rose) all got vaccinated here too.

SJ Donghae also had Pfizer a few weeks ago as he was complaining of his arm being sore which is a common side effect.
