Sung choruses

Really depends if a song needs a sung chorus or not.

Most of them do

Sung choruses is my taste. I love those choruses because they are great.

Instrumental choruses are nice too if the beat drop is actually good and not empty. I think it's more suitable for choreo.

I was surprised Lalisa had a sung chorus, nice bold move.

Open to both depending on how they are done, but preference is towards sung chorus.

I don't like just edm instrumental choruses, but it's not set in stone. Like, I like scream from dreamcatcher and even Monster by RV.

I'm thinking of like Jessi's What Type of X where even though she's just repeating the same thing a couple times, it balances out really well with the instruments and it's still interesting to listen to.

There are other songs that try this, but then the instrumental is a bit lacking and it ends up feeling empty.

Unless it's a band, sung choruses. If it's an EDM drop it's a no no.

Agree, depending on the song, it may not be needed if the verses of the song are strong and the instrument sound is unique. If verses aren't that catchy, a strong and catchy chorus is needed.

I typically like instrumental choruses, it actually makes a song more addicting for me if done well.

But if I don't like the song in general, meh.
