One thing she would have missed out on is the downloads certification even if solo ended up charting better in 2020/21. She got both a streaming and download certification at debut itself.

Why are people reframing her solo being released back then as a disadvantage? It literally came after BP's biggest hit and made her super famous in South Korea. She was everywhere, YG even created a dance challenge for it!

Being the first BP member to get a solo was always going to cause a huge buzz. It was great for her!

Besides, if I could bet money on one member having more solos than the other members, it would be Jennie. There is a reason YG have her one first, all part of the plan. So I don't get feeling sorry for her in this respect.
