What is the most common reason you unstan an idol or idol group?

usually it's just long periods of inactivity or major scandals(like if any member did smt illegal or something morally wrong)

So far I have unstanned two groups. One of them I lost interest over time due to me not liking a lot of their music and stanning too early and the other one.

A few members of the fanbase of the group said a lot of personal attacks to me due to me stanning other groups etc.

I started to distance from the group due to me not being able to enjoy the music anymore. I still think the group is nice and interact with a few people from their fanbase, but I have lost interest in them due to those people and me moving gaining interest in other groups.

Not liking their music anymore, A member or the group gets into a racism controversy (repeatedly), I just lose interest in the members.

I've lost interest in a couple of groups just because I just grew out of them. Not as in age just as in my music taste changed and I sort of lost touch with my love for them. Nothing major.

Usually they go in a different musical direction than I like.

I've never had a reason but just gradually lose interest until I stop checking them out

I've rarely had the case where I all together stop listening to their music though, usually just lose interest in the members and their activities outside of music

I'm too new to K-pop to have unstanned someone.

But, in other genres: they take so long to release new music that I grew tired of listening to the same thing and lost my interest.

Music. If I don't like 2 consecutive releases. It's OVER.

When I get old and their music is no longer for my age

Or if they were going crazy like Justin Bieber (god knows how i love this man before)

their songs get boring

by boring i mean not my personal taste pls dont end me 🙏

It's a question of music. If I don't like a group's music anymore, I stop stanning.

Criminal activity

when their music becomes bad.

if i don't like their music anymore or if they have a major (confirmed) scandal.

thankfully, so far none of the groups i've liked have gotten into large scandals.

• When they disband and get irrelevant so I might liasten to their stuff but not care for the individual member anymore, except if they stay musicians and I follow them afterwards
• When they are into too many shitty scandals
