"The design company in charge of the artwork on NCT 127’s recent concept photos has apologized for taking from someone else’s work without permission.
The company’s designer employee, who had been a fan of Downtown Boys, knew about the existence of the original graphic. They thought that it would fit the mood of the photo when used as a background prop for the project.
The company also apologized to SM Entertainment and NCT 127 for the damage caused, adding, “In the future, we will thoroughly inspect our work prior to release to prevent something like this from occurring again. Once again, we bow our heads in apology to everyone.”
