Because all the 3rd gen groups already have hoobaes. It's simply as that. Even if it takes a while to be official, like when 2015 was the official (in my eyes) 3rd gen shift even though exo and bts debuted earlier. That's how i see it

4th gen groups have better start physical albums wise because they sell in massive numbers, great Spotify streams and YouTube views. Their digital is the only thing lacking but they have time. 4th gen is barely 2 years old.

Idk but multiple rookie groups are selling faster nowadays. EN- almost 400k with debut album, Treasure already a million seller in 6 months and TXT, SKZ, Ateez all past million sales too.

South Korean counts it as ten years. maybe it will begin this year.
