BTS will likely sweep daesangs again (if BE is eligible) otherwise NCT Hot Sauce is a strong contender and BLACKPINK The Album (if is elegible) have big numbers in physical and digital criteria plus achieved a lot so judges might consider that.

GG award is so unpredictable because unlike last year that BLACKPINK was leading in every aspect, in 2021 different GGs are leading but it might be between TWICE/OH MY GIRL/BRAVE GIRLS.

It’s sad Rollin’ do not count for award shows because that song could have been a big push to BRAVE GIRLS total digital score and potentially win SOTY, Chi Mat Ba Ram ain’t that strong enough digitally to snatch SOTY compare to other contenders.

Even if the pinks have a comeback next month (don’t see it happening because of Lisa debut) they will have a short tracking period to collect enough digitals to snatch the awards they should get.

it would be amazing if OMG or BGs got GGOTY they've both done so well this year, tho I'd obvi love Twice to win it lol. BTS will get SOTY and Artist, and most likely album, i can see Dream getting male dance and Aespa getting female, IU getting female soloist idk for male, vocal performance will likely go to Mamamoo again

The album was released early October 2020 so would not count towards this years. You can see here it was nominated for last years already

also I would guess based on previous years eligibility criteria that BE is eligible given it was released Nov 20th 2020 and eg for example as seen in the video i posted above for the 2020 show... Love Poem by IU was nominated for the 2020 show and it had been released on Nov 18th 2019.

So essentially.

Rollin' isn't eligible but is the biggest hit of the year. Next Level won't win since it has good longevity but a much lower peak than several songs and is trailing by a lot in index. They also have not got the voting power.

So confirmed 100% fact Butter is SOTY.

BE is currently the highest selling physical and has the highest(maybe 2nd behind IU) index for an 'album' so assuming it qualifies it will 100% win AOTY.

BTS win ArOTY too for obvious reasons.

GG of the year will likely be Twice or BP with an outside bet of Brave Girls. No one else is really a competitor for it right now.

Only other noteworthy awards is Aespa will get some form of specialty award. Something along the line of 'next generation star' or some such.

Album - IU (this one is no competition)

BE will be nominated for MAMA & win on MAMA for sure.

Kinda disappointed that because of the weird time of eligibility period, BE won't be eligible for other Award shows. Like GDA's eligibility for this year is 30 november 2020 to 10 November 2021.🤦‍♀️ Like what the hell to omit the 20 days album releases in between.🤷‍♀️

In my opinion, the eligibility period should be 1 November previous year to 31 october present year for all k_Award show to not omit any release.

Justin Beiber should get nominations for Peaches, it has been so steady on the charts.

But as with IU, without the fan votes, there wouldn't be the awards.

Just shows how fan votes skew the awards. But then award shows won't make money, if not for baiting fans with a say in getting their favs an award.

I don’t watch the MAMAS anymore but I do hope Aespa win at least one award. I’ll be happy.
