BTS Grammy, what about a Bonsang for Beiber?

I see a lot of chatter about BTS and Grammy, American racism and what not.

But many Western songs have done very well in Korean charts most recently Justin Beiber's Peaches.

Do the Korean Awards even consider such songs for their Bonsangs & Daesangs?

Or do they require the song to be in Korean, then Butter, PTD, Dynamite should not win any korean awards?

Haven't seen much discussions about that.

Of course, the US would have biases, but at least they are officially open to consider foreign acts for their awards.

If kpop is so successful and wants international acceptance, then Korea should have awards like Grammy, which are open to international acts as well.

I checked, it does seem MMA accepts foreign artists.

Ariana Grande, Billie Eillish, Sheeran, Camilla Cabello have nominations.

Representation of minorities have always been less. That's why many awards were created, so people of color and minorities can win something. Because of the systematic disadvantage they suffer from. Just take a example. Only 3 women of color has won album of year over decades. Same amount swift won in 12 years. Yikes.

Let some awards for minorities, where they don't have to suffer this systematic bias.

And you think that systematic bias will be broken, by lusting for recognitions from that supposed discriminatory order.

So at the end you would go begging to get a prize in the name of being a minority, is it?

Why not dream that the same white man feels the need to be acknowledged by Asian Awards?
