Overrated tv shows?

Friends.

Game of Thrones. Couldn’t see the hype.

American Horror Story. The storylines are honestly terrible. I still watched every season though, because sometimes I hate-watch things for some reason.

Elite. I am still trying to understand why it's so popular.

This show is a disgrace to writing. I've watched for 2 seasons, puzzled yet intrigued, until I realized: nah, the showrunners have no idea what they're doing. They're just writing shit on the fly, with no concerns for consistency and purpose.

Basically everything. No characters is consistent.

Rollo is seen in the first episode drooling over Ragnar's wife and seems ready to fight his brother over her. But then nope, he's super loyal and trustworthy. Until he's not anymore because what the hell.

Floki begins as a weirdo who's only good at building ships but then he turns into a formidable warrior. Then he becomes a bigot and wants to kill Athelstan even though Athelstan has lived among them for years.

Athelstan leaves his Christian life behind him as he learns to live among heathens. Until years after, out of the blue, a mystical revelation makes him a full fledged Christian again (so he can be conveniently murdered by Floki, isn't that nice).

The list goes on. Nothing makes sense. Everything happens for random reasons. It's like Game of Thrones gone full retard.

I didn't watch The Walking Dead but my sister said that it was so boring that she couldn't even get past episode 3.

I remember she or her friend who also tried to get into TWD said that the episodes were over 40 minutes, and some are just characters walking.

I like the first season of Dark but never watched the other seasons. It is pretty slow though lol
