Why are boy groups more likely to have sub units than girl groups?

rv and fx had one and theyre smaller groups

also theres heaps of other girl groups that have had sub units. i don't think its less than boy groups

isn't it because boygroups are always bigger (in members)? so there's more space for subunits?

I can name more Girl Group sub units though

Day6 even of day, Bobby and Mino, SUJU Trot (they had more iirc), exo SC, JJproject, Seventeen's units, Infinite H, VIXX LR, Wanna One also promoted as units. E'last and Dongkiz (nugu rookies) already debuted subunits too.

So there's many bgs sub units too

so the answer is no... BG are not more likely to have subunits more than GG???
