Sunmi & Girls' Generation's Tiffany confirmed as mentors of Mnet's 'Girls Planet 999'

On June 9, Mnet's 'Girls Planet 999' confirmed that former Wonder Girls member Sunmi and Girls' Generation's Tiffany will be acting as mentors on the upcoming K-Pop idol survival program.

I'm not sure about sunmi

But tiffany is definitely a good cjoice she stayed in a group for 10years and perform as a soloist all around the world so she know really well the industry

Plus she was under SM, so it's like she experienced what a survival show feels like with all the trainee against who she was to debut in snsd

Plus she's from the US so she know it's feel to come into a country you don't know to pursue your dream

And she can relate to other idol about how she was popular in sk but had to start again from the bottom in US

after watching Running Girls' / Running Mate on MNet I'm sure that Sunmi will do well,

she was really cool around YooA, Chuu, and Chung Ha so she can connect with younger girls

Can you tell me why you are not sure about Sunmi ? Isn't she also one of the most know solo artist in Kpop ?

Sunmi is as senior as Tiffany.

And more importantly, she is more established as an artist herself than Tiffany. Dont see the reason why Tiff is good choice why Sunmi isnt.

Edit: it sounds like you dont know sunmi enough.

I now sunmi

but in the difference of Tiffany she didn't have the full GG experience that Tiffany had

considering that she stayed in Wonder girls 3 years and then left for 5 years before coming back as wonder girls for just 2 comeback

in comparison Tiffany had a much more complete GG experience in the sense that she stay from day 1 to the end

she experienced everything a GG members could experience

+ like i explain she can relate much more to the foreigner member and idol member who are participating into the show

because she know how it feel to be popular and then going somewhoere and be totally unknow and have to prove yourself once again to make a name for yourself

Plus she can relativize much more and i think she would give good advice considering she go through everything, public dating, scandal, etc....

my comment wasn't a read to Sunmi, i just felt that Tiffany would be a really great mentor because she have a much more complete experience as an idol

she experience Girlgroup, project GG, she perform as a soloist in Korea, she is a soloist in the US

her experience in the idol industry is one of the most complete
