Changed the title of the thread from “So all the clowns who thought Aespa lip synced come over here” to “Clowns assemble!”. -
i was never a clown :P

In my defense, I got confused with some parts because they were shooting different scenes (close-ups) and edit it with the whole footage.

I'm just like u mate, I can't tell the difference

all prerecorded performances are post-edited to clean up any mishaps and make the sound uniform all throughout. the same often happens in concert DVDs. you could say it's an edited live lol
Yeah, I have been saying that about all Pre-recorded stages for all idols post-covid but Kpop fans single Aespa out as one of the ones who lip-sync when they do exactly the same thing as their "live singing" favs. That's the probelm.

unfortunately Aespa debuted in the middle of the covid era and all their performances so far were pre-recorded and therefore edited. they still didn't get the chance to perform live (in real) time in front of audience, i think only groups that get nominated for #1 in music shows stay up to do that since there is no audience eitherway

They can sing, whoever deny that just lie to themselves. I also have a difficulties picking out which one is lipsync and which one is not because as some users already say, it's prerecorded so they will be edited (+the presence of quite loud backtrack). But this clip prove that the girls can sing live great.

I lowkey wish this clip gets viral or at least being talked about so that haters that always shade them for lipsync can see

Yeah. What I find funny is people judging their "stage presence". Stage presence is about how they interact with the audience confidently. There is no audience so why are they being judged on that? lol
I think the editing is unnecessary in these stages but I used to like it in concert CDs because it cleans up the distorted sounds and is overall more professional. anyway, it's annoying that some groups like Aespa are held on higher standards while others are complimented for doing the same thing.
i don't think stage presence is only about interacting with the audience. In fact i think those are two different things, but either way the "complaints" about Aespa's stage presence are overblown, they don't have amazing stage presence which is natural considering they are still rookies with very little experience at stage performances, but they are no where near as lacking as people make them seem. they are fine and they will only keep getting better from now on.
