Overseas achievements should count for Korean award shows?

I don’t know what you are trying to say but why shouldn’t award shows use every metric available to validate their standards?

Korean award shows that focus on Kpop (which should be all of them, nobody cares about trot, generic OST ballads, RnB, indie, etc) should base their awards on a panel of expert Kpop related judges, similar to the Grammys which feature voters who have actually excelled in the US music industry.

Awarding awards based on album sales, charting, fanvotes, is fraudulent. So is allowing failed musicians (ie music journalists and music professors found in the KMAs) to vote on them.

Successful people who have made a living actually excelling in Kpop, including choreographers, vocal coaches, producers, etc should be the people voting for these awards. Who is a better judge of what is "Song of the Year" than someone who actually produced 25 number one hits like Teddy? Or "Artist of the Year" than someone who actually singlehandedly created two of the biggest Kpop groups ever like Teddy?

What would be the point of Korean awards then if international awards are counted? Might as well just refer to it as American or whatever awards hosted in Korea by then.

Other countries have awards, maybe Koreans acts can win some award there.

I don't see why they should count overseas Charting and achievements when albums are ready counted. For digitals, the only ones who make noticeable dents on official foreign charts are bts.

If you mean Spotify and other international streaming platforms then sure. It wouldn't help all that much really, Korea is already over saturated with streaming services.

Ew no so boygroups can take everything???? They will become the bts nct skz enhypen treasure awards and girl groups wont stand a chance minus twice BP and Itzy and maybe RV...(no shade to BGs but they have huge international fandom)
