Pinkfong is a Korean company. The song is catchy, easy-listening and obviously popular. Therefore it is k-pop. It's not just k-pop, it's the biggest k-pop song of all time and has paved the way for all your faves.
It's K-Children. The Grammys actually have a category for Children's album.
Is it in Korean?
If it isn't then I wouldn't call it KPOP

Baby shark
it cant be kpop cuz its not music
its a nursery rhyme
but baby shark world domination
The extent people go to in order to rule out Baby Shark as legit k-pop. They feel so threatened for their faves because they know their faves won't ever come close to Baby Shark global success. They refuse to acknowledge Baby Shark paved the way for all the nugu artists from nugu Korea to take the world by storm. PSY was also pivotal in that regard, let's face it.
Just be real and bow down, guys. Numbers mean quality. Numbers don't lie. Baby Shark rules the world.

Yup it's in Korean :) At least the original is
only if twinkle twinkle little stars and all the other nursery songs are considered pop music
They are, but low quality. Baby Shark rules supreme.

I’m on with this. It wasn’t intended to be pop music.
I believe that most traditional children's music falls under folk music, but there are usually separate categories for children's or educational music.
A lot of it crossovers over with and contains elements from pop music. In fact Bubblegum Pop is one of the related articles to children's music so really it's up to you if consider a song to be both children's music and pop music.
Baby Shark is a top 40 hit on the Hot 100 chart and the most watched video on YouTube regardless how you want to categorize it though.

My point exactly. And because we're on a k-pop forum where for some reason NUMBERS ARE EVERYTHING and are basically the only things that are ever talked about and respected, therefore I require from everyone to bow down in awe to the one true song from Korea that took the whole world by storm. And let's not forget PSY, credit must be given where credit is true. But everyone else? Nugu af.
