Didn't we all know weeks ago she was going to HYBE's new GG?

We been knew. It was obvious the rumors about her signing with Big Hit/Hybe were true after the statement they released which to me read like “yes it’s true that she signed or about to sign with but we’re not ready to announce it yet”.

I wonder what they’re going to do with her. She has said she wants to continue being an idol and even though I love her, I don’t think she can stand as a soloist. But putting her in a group could also be tricky. She’s so popular the imbalance is going to be huge if they have her with a bunch of lesser known girls. But I’m super excited to see what path she’s going to take next regardless.

I'm actually surprised she's not joining HYBE Japan to make use of her existing popularity in Japan. But I actually respect her more because of it. She wants to take chances and better herself, and see how far she can reach on the World stage. And that's pretty damn admirable.

Honestly though there's no chance of her going solo. As much as I love her, she doesn't (yet) have the vocal ability to go solo. And she herself doesn't have the self-confidence in her singing that is needed for a soloist to shine. I don't think she would even want to go solo even if she was given the opportunity to. Maybe in the future and after she gets more proper vocal training and builds up her confidence but not now.

Very easy solution that is sitting right there for HYBE. Buy out the contracts of all other Izone members and just reform the damn group already.
