I’m genuinely surprised at how well Next Level is doing on the charts

You need a big brain to appreciate this song. People with little brains get too easily discombobulated with even a modicum of complexity, their smaller brains can only accommodate generic RnB riffs and mumble rap we've all heard a billion times.

Even for me, there is one part of the song that is Aespa's signature sound and that is essential, but a part that i cant handle - the super prominent bass line. For both BM and Next Level, the bass lines are super overpowering for me. But otherwise, my brain is big enough to appreciate the top notch production quality on display here.

I'm not surprised.

My prediction about next level was that it would chart between 50 to 100 on Melon and will drop out soon. So far it seems to be happening as i expected.

melon 24 hits isnt a real time chart sweetheart... that is different and they are much higher there...
