Look at the list again, neither Little Mix, BlackPINK or Fifth Harmony have a concept as "wholesome" as TWICE.

Then think of the most popular Kpop groups around the globe and on Youtube and their 100m viewed MV's, you don't need to research much because TWICE's MV are mostly wholesome, the others basically fall under Idol Hip Hop and Girl Crush

I dont really get your "wholesome" concept. Also dont get how little mix and fitft harmony fit into hip hop / girl crush honestly. Do u even listen to them or you just made assumption?

Being casual listener of all these groups, these two western groups have been doing typical English pop concepts which are neither girl crush nor hip hop. Little mix had done semi-bubble gum pop during early years while venture into more mature sound, just like Twice currently. Occasionally having rapper featuring doesnt make them hip hop, honey.

This narrative is factually inaccurate and weird at same time to give some unnecessary qualifier on the credit to twice, when in the first place they dont even need such qualifier. Having most 100m MVs are really impressive for them, being able to churn out many songs in different languages and getting decent views for most of them.

Dont see how Twice is outlier in term of concept. If about mutilingual then YES. Twice has fair share of Korean and Japanese releases which reached 100m

The groups listed there, each of them have fair share of different concepts used throughout the years. And twice also have fair share of more mature sound which are far from being "outlier" from the groups listed above (e.g. breakthrough, ICSM, feel special, fancy)

I don't see it as a drag, hip hop is the biggest genre atm. Twice not doing hip hop genre and still succeeding is praiseworthy.

The only song that Blackpink has that is anything close to Hip Hop is HYLT.

Most of Little Mix, Fifth Harmony's songs aren't hip hop as well. Do u even know music genres b4 u speak abt them?

All of ggs mentioned releases songs that are mainly classified as pop. And since Bp and Twice are kpop ggs they release cute songs as well and change concepts more often than not.

Congratz to Twice for doing so well even in a global scale. But if u want to shade other groups, at least know your shit.

They also had collage with big hip hop stars, and if LM and 5H we're kpop group they would fall into the girl crush category.

Twice really doesn't have that modern radio-friendly sound like the rest of mentioned groups. It is not that hard to give them few praises.

LM are literally my queens but their songs are much more public-friendly than Twice songs. Especially on the global scale.
