How Much Does EVERGLOW Make from 323 Million Streams on Spotify? Shocking Figures!

    Methodology:


    Revenue = (Avg. pay per stream) * (# of Streams)

    Avg. pay per stream =[ Σ [(Pay per stream per country)] * (Streams in the country)]/(total global streams).

    Pay per stream per country (Source: https://www.igroovemusic.com/b…-auf-spotify.html?lang=en). Not every country had a pay-per-stream rate, thus the ones which did not were mitigated.

    Spotify doesn't provide holistic data on listeners' demographics. For substitution, I used Youtube Demographics. Sample Size (Past year) (Source: https://charts.youtube.com/art…=2021-05-07T00%3A00%3A00Z)

    Pay per stream was assumed to have stayed constant since Everglow's     debut.


    Results:

    Everglow's Avg. pay per stream = 0.0016 USD
    Total Revenue from 323 Million Streams = 520k USD


    In addition, this number doesn't include royalties to producers, lyricists, distributors, etc.

    If you think about it, it's KINDA Shit for the sheer number of streams.

After subtracting all the royalities and fees, it's really not much. In contrast, An Everglow M/V is probably around 100-200k USD and Everglow's 4 concerts from their Everlasting Tour summed to 340k+ USD.

    Yes the difference is quite big. So you calculated the percentage of youtube streams from each country and then applied it to the total spotify streams to estimate the number of spotify streams by country if I understood well?

    What are the countries that everglow earns the most money from in Spotify? For instance they have important streams from Philippines but the pay per stream is very low, they must earn more from France even with half the number of streams.
