A mix of both tbh. One shouldn't be so courteous that it allows anyone to tread on them. Turn the other cheek is the worst advise I've personally received. It just makes things worse.

However don't go after antis that it will mess up your head. Antis rarely change their mind even if they are wrong. So its ok to charge when you run into them but there's no point trying to get them admit their wrongs or change their behaviour. They 99.99% won't.
