You must have really really really low expectations.

Even if it was forced, they have some damn good songs. Dancing, stage presence, and visuals are unrivaled, plus Baekhyuns voice.

The way Marvel Universe has different storylines for individual character movies yet they happen to take place in the same universe and we get to see all the hero's uniting.

Same way each member of SuperM have initial origin of their original groups and yet they unite with SuperM.

But I get the hate because LSM oppa said this thing.

This. I never got the hate for calling them The Avengers when they technically were and no other group in kpop could be called The Avengers. Not to mention the collab with Marvel was in the works.

Super M is the only group it makes sense to be called that.

OT: I think they did fine. Probably did blow up like SM wanted, but gave every involved promo in the west and spread the SM brand. Not to mention we got great songs out of it from idols who probably would have never made music together.

Overall it was a success for fans and a flop for SM, but maybe they achieved their purpose for PR.

SuperM should've never happened and it's so embarrassing that LSM thinks that SM is on the same level as the Marvel universe.

NGL. LSM didn't let them have a great impression in 2019 due to that billboard issue. :P

As for the group itself, I think the issue is that they had an idea of what they wanted to be, instead of seeing what they could become. I'm low-key glad they weren't successful to be honest, even though I feel a bit bad for the boys - they are incredibly talented.

Oh I hate how their schedules get in the way of the schedules of every group the members come from.

But I like te music enough. They helped me enjoy a bg comeback given that my faves were no having a full group comeback (their solos and sub-units were amazing) last year.

I just wish SM knew what they are doing because they are all talented and none deserve that degree of embarrassment they are being put through.

I still think that an all-stars project group was and is a great idea, and that if another K-pop company had come up with it and launched such a group from various members out of their groups, the bashing and trashtalking would've been a whole lot less.

It hasn't been hugely successful so far, might be that it takes time just like NCT and other groups to build up speed.

I'm not a huge fan of super hero movies. That being said, none of those movies are even close to MAN OF STEEL. THE DARK KNIGHT, the best of the three, didn't really come together.

It’s a blunder for LSM to set SuperM up like that. As a group and the concept I think it’s fine, all members are very talented. SM’s PR team was to be blamed for going this “avengers” route.

But I really think it was just SM trying to prove to his investors that he can also produce a supergroup like BTS. At least he reached one of his goal which is to get number 1 in BB200. And made many ExoLs into NCtzens. So overall I think LSM is happy with the results.
