What's the difference between the visual, the center, and the face of a group?

-
Visual: The prettiest according to K-beauty standards
Center: Center of dances
FOTG: Face of promotions and videos
-
-
-
Hmmm I'm also confused by that, I thought the center & face of the group were referring to the same thing?

I don't think is according to Korea beauty standards but beauty standards in general
edit: I'm saying this because for example, people that have seen Jisoo in person say she is much prettier in person and they understand why she is the visual and that was coming for people that used to think she was kind of basic.

Visual: Stan attractor/The most physically attractive member
Center: They mostly stay in the middle of group photos, dance, and introductions
Face of the group: Group representative that gets invited to different public events
-
well if you look at most visuals, they mostly fit the korean standards
yes they do but they also fit beauty standards in general all tend to have nice facial features I'm talking about beauty, sex appeal is something else.

I've always felt it was all basically the same thing because the the visual does all that stuff and it's fans mainly coming up with their own roles for their faves

face is usually the most popular member, whereas the center of the group is often portrayed in the center of performances. makes more sense?

Well, yes. Since they’re supposed to be the most attractive member. Beauty standards vary from country to country but not by that much. If you’re considered super pretty in one place you’re probably considered super pretty in most places. But the official visual position is based on KBS.
