Not all K-dramas are teen high-school dramas. There are some serious dramas too.

If you want some non-highschool dramas you could watch My Mister, Hotel del Luna, Crash Landing on You, Memories of the Alhambra, Vagabond, Tunnel, Signal, Times, Alice, Doctor Stranger.

Sometimes. But there were only a few I watched to the end. The vast majority of them are really cringey.

Besides school romance they have tons of historical series, they are more suitable for an adult audience.
