I watched it and the camera work and editing was so beautiful! It had a very nice aesthetic. Now onto the main relationship. It's as bad as it seems It was honestly very disgusting watching a 30 year old woman grooming a teen. I had to skip so many scenes. I did not like what the ending implied. I would recommend you watch it, just for the directing alone, and not the plot.

the drama is good in itself, but the age difference is well yes there's no way to change what it is. the age difference is there, and he's a kid ;-;

It's as creepy as it seen. I'm not against huge age gap relationship as long as both are adults. Even I supported my fave Yuto when he was dating an older actress (20y age gap), and he was 23, and that's okay. He's mature enough.

But 30's dating 15y old is wrong in any ways....

As weird as it may be for us over here in the west - age of consent in Japan is 13 years old. So it's not that odd really from a cultural standpoint - not that I agree with the age gap, but it's not uncommon.

Also, no idea how some people could watch Chugakusei Nikki and actually love it and root for the protagonists to be together.... These types of shows and movies are setting up a really bad example for young girls and boys..

I saw this for like a bit by accident. I hated it. The fact that the cinematography is good makes it worse.
