Will we see more groups from non-big4 companies blowing up soon?

Idk but all i want to say is y’all can’t put aoa in 2nd gen AND gidle, ateez etc in 4th gen as well lol it can only be EITHER of those and not both at the same time, or else 3rd gen would only last from 2013 to 2017 which is ridiculous lmao. Personally I wouldn’t put groups debuting in 2018 to be 4th gen at all, just 3.5 like apink and aoa were 2.5, but i guess their achievements would be much less brag-able if they’re not separated into a different gen from currently dominating groups who are all still 3rd gen lol. Oh well 😬

If Im being honest, No. But who knows, anything can happen.

Of the already existing groups I don't really know. Idle is doing great, I won't compare them to a Mamamoo type of growth as Cube, shitty as they are, are not that small to begin with but they are for now the best performing non Big 3 + 1 group.

For the rest, I have good hopes on StayC. And the other(s) might not exist yet

I'm a bit biased but I'm betting on The Boyz, their rise has been slow and steady. They have a lot of potential!

It can always happen, and I would say that with the development of social medias, it's easier now than before. Some non-big 3 ( or 4 ) are having more success than they could have hoped for 10 years ago because of it.

But social medias don't do everything, they will need good music, and an unique concept. They have to be better than Big 3 groups if they want to blow up - or, at least, bring something new to the table. Easier said than done.

I can definitely see Ateez blowing up. They are great performers and their popularity is growing internationally.

If I have to be honest, I don't see non big3 + 1 group making it big anytime soon. Out of the current groups only i-dle has a realistic chance but if cube screws up even once it will be all over. As to boy groups.. Mmm I don't see anyone making it big yet. Do we count enhypen as non big 3+1 group? Because if yes then only they have that chance, but again, they are related to big hit so I don't know.

Maybe in a few years some new group by some new company is going to rise and surprise us all, out of the current ones no one can do it
