Their dancing seems fine, it might look odd to you because of how Ningning is not moving her hips as much as Karina & Winter. And if you look closely, Giselle is reaching more downward than the other members (she reaches more to the midpoint of her thighs, while Winter, Karina, and Ningning reach from the intersection of their thighs to their hips). She also is making an almost catlike hand when reaching and rising her arms, and her body wave is not really shown like Karina, Winter, and Ningning

But the group still made a fine and majestic performance overall

I think that's how that particular move is supposed to be done? They have always done it like that in their performances, MV and dance practice. So what reference did you compare this to to deduce they were doing it wrong? Unless you don't like the move itself which is fine I guess.
