I think they are for sure stronger in physical sales since they also have many more original jp releases but bp are bigger on everything else. But in any case... assuming the premise of izone being 2nd up until now, from now on it's bp, don't think other ggs come close

So I did a Google Trends comparison were I put in ITZY, Twice, IZ*ONE, Blackpink, and just for the heck of it NiziU. I put it in since July 2020 as basically NiziU didn't exist prior to that.

Twice and NiziU both had 35 percent. Blackpink was at 11%, IZ*ONE was at 7% and ITZY was at 4%.

I then removed NiziU from the equation and put in Red Velvet and changed the date to March 2019 for ITZY debut time period. Twice is at 54%, BP at 12%, IZ*ONE at 11%, ITZY at 4% and Red Velvet at 3%

So yes BLACKPINK is #2 and was so even over IZ*ONE.

However if you want to put Album sales I think IZ*ONE pushes out BLACKPINK so it is basically the metric you want to chose.

BUT if you did include NiziU they are essentially tied with Twice as of this moment as to make no difference and that includes Japanese sales (counted from the time of NiziU's formation).
