They're ugly, but thats the point. Ugly cute. They are meant to be mischievous little gremlins that hide out in your day to day things. The non-plush blind box toys show that.
I have a few The Monsters/Labubu figures that I got before the craze took off, because I'm an absolute fucking mark for Blind Box/Gachapon stuff and ugly-cute aesthetics so they just fit well. But I don't like them enough to deal with the constant bullshit around getting them these days. Theres other things I just like more.

But I am much, much more into the same companies Skullpanda line... They are such a cool design and it sucks that the Labubu craze has started leaking over to Skullpanda and making them hard to find as well.

I remember it as if when I was younger and went to the dentist, children sometimes got those troll dolls as presents.
I used to comb and braid their hair.
And well... I currently own one that is a magnet. (I don't know if the other trolls are hiding somewhere in my house))
But well... in some store in my country, I have seen them selling those dolls. (or at least "fancier" versions of them)
And also seen them in Danish tourist stores.
