I understand building a predebut fanbase but this is usually done by survival shows 
Has anything ever happened like this from a big 3 company? I remember Nmixx were introduced 6 months before debut but 2-3 years is crazy? any thing can happen between now and 2027? what if the girls decide to leave/or be replaced

But they were planning on releasing the gg a lot earlier but it got delayed also did they introduce her officially as Jennie or just a trainee video
This is an offical intro with her name and details about her. Imo it’s a weird strategy, why wouldn’t they just do this in 2027 when they’re going to debut and the girls are older and the lineup is secured? Why rush this years before

I don't like it because BaeMon hasn't been established yet imo. I think it's risky in creating a group that can takeaway from BaeMon this soon. I assume some might not fully invest in BaeMon and invest in this new group early.
I wasn't aware of the Jennie trainee video was in 2012 but 2ne1 was established when they released that and Baemon isn't imo.
I guess they're doing this to get fans early but these introduction videos might be easily forgotten if the plan is to debut them in 2027.

Yeah I assumed they would differentiate between both groups clearly but I’ve seen people already getting annoyed they’re calling this new gg monsterz even as a place holder! And it’s clear they’ll be continuing YG signature concept

In theory BM will be fine and have at least 2 more years to solidify their fandom before this new gg debuts and that’s assuming YG sticks to 2027 debut year which they don’t have the best track record for! it does feel a little odd though!
So when one of the revealed members doesn't end up debuting for whatever reason, fans who have already formed an unhealthy attachment to a trainee idol because of visual and one video, can obsess over her for years after the rest of the group debuts and complain about how YGNGG is OT 5, not 4. Or whatever

The idea isn't unusual for YGE whom have had pre-debut events with JYPE trainees and vice versa

The marketing seems odd to call them "monsterz". I think this would be better received if they didn't use "monsters" tag onto this new group. It feels too similar imo and would've been more interesting if they aim for something different than the usual YG group.
