YERI & WENDY leave SM ent (will continue promoting as RV members)

not surprising at all considering they've been constantly out of the SM town concerts line-up. we were just waiting for the official announcement.

Haha I was about to log on to post this, was scrolling to see if anyone would mention it first.

Will they actually still release an album? I've seen some groups where members leave and they stop making new music.

Good for them!! I'm really glad they're still going to be with Red Velvet whilst also finally exploring new opportunities!

I got really scared that they were leaving the group lol so I am relieved.

Congrats to them. Yeri is the most talented actress in RV but SM isn't finding work for her; she's the only RV member that didn't have a solo debut. I still remember Yeri's Room season 2 being cancelled cause SM couldn't negotiate a deal. Meanwhile, Irene is getting CF deals and a solo album even with the scandal. Wendy is the best vocal of 3rd gen and needs more releases like Taeyeon.
