YERI & WENDY leave SM ent (will continue promoting as RV members)

I was sad but even if they stayed with SM, Red Velvet doesn't get much freguently CB and the company doesn't promote them much. It would be best if they progressed in their own individual careers. At least they will see each other in group activities, even if not very often. I was also expecting to Joy to leave to be honest, she must have come to an agreement with SM on that issue.

Like I said in another thread it feels very bittersweet but I kind of expected it. They still had one year more than SNSD beforea few members left and they went semi-active.

I wish them all the best in their solo activities and hope that we will at least get a full group comeback for their 15th anniversary.

Not that it means anything when they haven't had a comeback since last year, and haven't even been performing as a full group this year. Truthfully I think Wendy's contract expired a long time ago and they were just waiting for closure on Yeri's situation to announce everything.

You're right. For some reason, my mind didn't register that Cosmic was released before their 10th anniversary, I thought it was after.

Yeah, it seemed like that with Wendy, with all the recent issues.

So now it does feel like SNSD all over again, only the members left later and not soon after the 10th anni.

I feel so sad that they're leaving, but I understand. At least Wendy and Yeri will stick around for Red Velvet group activities

I seriously doubt they actually forgot about her; they most likely pissed her off some other way. I suspect she holds a lot more sway at SM than most other artists, which is how she can complain so much and get away with it, but they have this unhealthy relationship where SM fails to keep her satisfied but she refuses to ever leave anyway, possibly because she knows she'd have a lesser stature at another company.

Yeah, I suspect there's more behind that story.
