Isn't this like the individual's responsibility instead of the company's responsibility

sure...trainees are gonna risk getting cut because they don't follow instructions.

it's kpop. trainees have been cut for being ounces over the target weight set by the company.

I'm just tired of the same old thing with these idols and YG's "black" concept. Let's be real, that's what it is. It's not hiphop, it's "black." I won't speak for every black person, but jeez, I'm getting too tired to care at this rate. Just apologize or whatever and don't do the whole dramatic teary apology, if they even apologize at all. It's disheartening but I'm also just bored of it. I'm not saying idols should do more to "excite" me or whatever, I'm saying they should be smarter at this point lol. I just wish Kpop labels, trainees, and idols would leave black people tf ALONE. We're TIRED

No, because they don't get any real heat for it from domestic or international fans. It's a business and it doesn't affect their bottom line, so they'll remain status quo. It would logically make sense for them to change their ways since they're a company that heavily uses black culture to market their groups

Nice to see people agree that others do get away with it.
While I'm stuck beating the same dead horse over and over again for almost a decade of stanning BTS over the same thing that others just keep getting away with.
IKR, went so far to change lyrics that sound like the word in korean but people still bring up that single instance that they apologized for
