Honestly I think it's very naive to expect things improve for them as soon as they leave their company. It can only work if they launch their ownn company, like BP girls. There's a reason why successful idols tend to stick with the devils they already know.

Also idk what that comment about how starship operate is on, Sistar had cbs from beginning to end of career and chose themselves to disband with a goodbye song that was 1 in all charts

They didn’t even go solo for them to separate from Ive. We don’t know how they will do in solo. So it is better for them to stick to the group….

I do find it funny how everyone was praising IVEs comeback 2 weeks ago but now everything suddenly sucks just because KiiiKiii exists.

The complaints (not this specific one but another big theqoo post) are also bringing up stuff like crappy After Like concept photos or Gaeuls big shoes that happened multiple YEARS ago. It almost feels a bit forced.

I've really liked the concept photos, trailers and entire promotional schedule for the last 2 comebacks. I like the songs on IVE SWITCH more than the IVE EMPATHY but that's entirely subjective so it would be ridiculous to claim that "Starship isn't paying for good songs anymore". You can't just pump out guaranteed Love Dives every comeback by throwing money at it. They've been hiring some pretty big profile names.

I do still think it's good posts like these pop up on Korean sites, even though Starship have been improving they need to be constantly reminded to put maximum possible effort into IVE or public opinion could turn real fast.

Also, when has one of these 'find a new company for an existing group'-situations ever not resulted in a downgrade of everything? I've never seen it work out even once. It's usually the beginning of the end of an idol career.

They almost certainly signed new 7 year contracts at IVE debut anyway so they're not even halfway in which makes this topic even sillier.

Why would they not renew? They are complaining about things that happened years ago... Ive is easily one of the top groups right now, they have a long career if they want seeing their loyal fb like... Unless the girls start openly complaining about the company then I don't see a reason for them to get out of SS, it's not like they are treated like BP, music deprived, so...

The most ironic thing is that starship actually tried to promote Ive like they're doing with kiiikiii now, yet it was the era when they received the most negative reaction (baddie).

They even got Ive on 2 lollapaloozas this year.

Also Yujin and Wonyoung promote solo since they debuted in Ive, which not many groups can get that treatment. Look at Lsfm as an example.. Chaewon and Sakura don’t do solo schedules as much as Wy and Yujin….

SSE is doing pretty good job. They even promoted their cb this era better compared to Heya…..
