- I became a quiet ARMY during the solo era because I am liking it but I don’t love it like their group discography.
- I don’t like YG music except for Blackpink and some Winner’s songs.

I have to strongly agree
I still prefer their most recent songs more
But old MY who were really into aespa will understand when i say that now when i expect an aespa cb i'm not as hyped than i used to.
I remember how in the past we were all so hype for their next comeback cuz we were waiting for so much response
Will the AE change and how SM will finally give them a bigger role in the kwangyaverse ?
What is going to happen now that Black mamba is defeat ?
How the next SMCU episode will look like ?
What's next in the lore ?
And now i'm still hype for their comeback but now my excitement is more like " great aespa is coming back soon" and then i move on
To summarize in the past it feels like i was anticipating the return of my fav singer and my fav tv show
Now they are just singers
What attract me to aespa at their debut and made me a hard fan really quickly was the fact that they stand out from other group because they had more dimension to their group than just being a group who perform.
And now that they got rid of this, they are just like any other group but without this little spark in them that made me really fall into the aespa hole.
And i would love if SM can find a balance between aespa lore and new aespa

- Kpop fans need to stop obsessing about idols who write and produce / idols who don't write or produce, cuz if these idols really wanted to be producer/write/ interpreter they wouldn't have join a big company to debut in a group but would be soloist or independant artist. Your idols knew how the system work and if they decided to become idols it's for a reason, if they write and produce great from them. But making a whole obsession about it is weird
- Being successfull makes people handsome to the eyes of kpop fans cuz trust me i can name 5-6 kpop idols that people would not hype for their visuals but because they are successfull people suddenly thirst on them and act like they would turn their head in the street if this person pass by if it was a nugu person

Sometimes it's pure luck so you hope for a talent who's willing to put in the hard work to be able to finally shine at that very right and perfect moment when that one in a billion chance happens for them.
Someone who might not be a blip on anyone's radar as indie/ a soloist might really pop off in the right group with the right synergy and ofc opposite might hold true.

Talent and that distinct star quality makes anyone beautiful* more than any money, connections and or surgeries ever could.

The staging with lots of visual effects and these hordes of dancers hide a lot of the misery of the performances which are getting worse and worse.
Everyone here criticized Hyuna about her relationship, Somi for posting a picture in a starbucks but where did that same energy go for Lisa? Her in-laws who exploit people don't bother anyone though.
I have more and more trouble seeing the border between kpop and pop.

Most (I don't want to generalize) kpop fans only care about social issue if they can weaponize it or if they can get likes or social media points for calling it out and "holding their faves accountable" which doesn't even make sense
