The survey was commissioned by the Korea Creative Content Agency to M.Brain Research and surveyed 3,500 people aged 10 to 69 who used music content "at least once every 2-3 months" in the past year.

Regarding this, the report analyzed that the usage rate of YouTube Music is high because there are many cases of using YouTube Premium and YouTube Music together. In the case of YouTube, you can use YouTube Music for free if you subscribe to a premium service that allows you to watch videos without ads.
"Most users focus on YouTube Premium benefits," the report said, "and the number of users who use YouTube Music alone is low."
Looking at the responses by age group, the rate of using overseas services was high among those in their teens and 20s, at 56.3 percent and 55.1 percent, respectively. On the other hand, among those in their 40s, the domestic service usage rate was 57.5 percent.
The report explained, "It was found that people in their teens and 20s use overseas services a lot because they have music from various overseas artists and can understand songs and information from various artists."
