But the fact remains is that MHJ is the devil NewJeans are more comfortable siding with them the devils at HYBE. How disgusted would the members be having men like BSH hovering around them, when they are not any better or even worse than MHJ considering men are most likely to commit vile acts than women.

MHJ isn't a saint, but NJs is her dream work, she idealized everything and chose the members herself so out of pure love or not, she is the one that did/will do everything to grow out NJs into THE group as we are seeing since debut. Do I like her? I have no personal feelings towards her, good or bad, but when comparing to Hybe I positively incline towards her bc in my mind she'll never be as bad as Hybe incels. Out of all of them she is the least worst.
Does she take the credit? Sure, it's her job, all her job, she poured herself in this. The members are still new, but I don't think they are dumb, if they are siding with her is bc she is their best option. They don't need to be with her forever, maybe after some years they'll separate, but for now she is doing all she can to secure their work, something Hybe, with proof, wants to eliminate.

This and i don't even stan anyone in hybe. I'd like to add that she comes across as very narcissistic and manipulative. Hybe is JUST as wrong as her but since this question is about her that's my 2 cents as an outside observer.

I don't need to say much else because you can see from replies in here what people think on both sides, very convenient!
She just gives me a bit of the ick - problematic behaviour in the past, a massive ego and a tendency to oversell her own creative genius as the reason for her artists’ success, rather than their talent.
Now, is she any worse than any other CEO? Probably not. I don’t think you get to that position without a touch of narcissism and ego… but she’s been so in the public eye, we’re certainly exposed to it a lot!

She's not worse than the average CEO of any company. Actually, pretty sure she's one of the best considering Hybe got YEARS of her private conversations and the worst they could find is her talking with a shaman and her swearing around with her friends, they had to manipulate screenshoots to put her in a worse position.
I'm completely sure if we could get the private convs of any other CEO we would see waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse stuff. Actually not even a CEO, but almost any individual have content in their private conversations that would put them in a really delicate situation, and that content dropped out of context could completely destroy the public image of anyone, and when I say anyone I mean literally anyone.
That being said, I don't think she's a saint, she's egotistic and I've seen her committing mistakes... But this public judgement she's living constantly has to be insufferable, she's being talked about as much or more than Bang PD or the CEOs of the Big 3 ever has when they've been involved in way more dirt. Also given the complication of the situations she has lived these last months I find the mistakes understandable, people don't empathyze when we talk about these things. People blaming her for mentioning their favs (Illit and LSFM) while defending herself after Hybe started a public campaign to destroy her public image, or shading her for swearing and making disgusting jokes or comments (who hasn't done some disgusting comment while talking with a friend? Come on) in the exposed screenshoots that were supposed to be private convs with people she has confidence with are dumb, they don't think about the context and just focus on the action itself.
And of course, NJ and their parents know way more than me or anyone here, and if they trust on her, I trust too.
And all that aside, she's one of the best professionals in Kpop, but I know it's not the topic.
Basically what Daisy said sums it up for me.
I'm on a big Warhammer 40K lore kick right.
MHJ is the Emperor of Mankind. Surrounded by fanatical followers utterly and blindly devoted to her.
Fighting an endless war against the much more evil, much corrupt forces of Chaos (Nurgle in this case to be specific, iykyk).
But much like the Emperor of Mankind, just because she is fighting an oppressively evil force that does terrible things does NOT mean she is the "good guy" at all. She's just the "better option".
Like any other human, she makes mistakes and has major flaws. But those mistakes are amplified due to the spotlight she's under. And as an artist myself, in literature, I can empathize with the obsessiveness and "taking all the credit" flaw.
And I think the bad and good judgements are lame. People are just doing what they think works in their world and given their situation.
I feel the same about Hybe as well.
But I'd rather see Hybe/BSH and MHJ duke it out in one go. I despise CEOs that are MIA when shit happens in their company. So props on MHJ for being there.
All I hope is this is over and we know what happens to NJs.
