Bringing back the classics I see. I've mostly only listened to Red Velvet, and even more so recently since Cosmic awakened something in me. I like some of aespas music and generally think they are an extremely talented group but just never loved their TTs.
2nd gen groups music never seems to appeal to me and I try to not think of math outside of work so don't have much to say about those 2.

It pains me to put Red Velvet above SNSD but I just had to for reasons... SNSD is forever important though...
I also like aespa but Red Velvet and SNSD will always have super special places in my heart

f(x) will likely always be my #1 group cause they were the first group I actively cared about.

Visual, song, expensive concept. And being 4 only really make each of them standout more.
F(x) was great too but they didnt have the investment by SM. RV concept from the start has been divisive due to red & velvet and SM made them experiment even more than f(x) imo. The inconsistency killed their momentum. SNSD is legendary but that's it

I love Red Velvet's musicality and vocal tones. I find Aespa's music and concept cool, but I think Red Velvet's musicality is on a different level and it appeals to my emotions more.

Musically: Red Velvet and f(x). Arguably the best girl group discographies in kpop ever. SNSD got better with age. Aespa has amazing titles but are very clearly the weakest when it comes to albums
