This is most likely false. Stray Kids will be doing a concert on November 23rd in Philippines. Very hard to be true they will be in Japan hours before, when they have rehearsals.

They didn't go last year to MAMA for much less. (They went to Jeju to film an episode for their fan content on Youtube)

MAMA Daesang will remain degraded for not honouring IU.

In fact, it would be even more insulting to everyone, if they awarded her this year, which is not at all her peak in charting, compared to her phenomenal feats in the past.

She might show up at Melon Awards since she is likely to win the Album awards, and also to see newer acts which she didn't get to see since 2017 (the 2021 MMA was segregated - singers stayed in their cars and only came out when they were called so they didn't meet each other), but probably not MAMA where she gets to play second fiddle to aespa.
