Red Velvet's Seulgi issues an apology after switching shoes with her manager

did male manager walked in high heels? lol
-
I don't understand the issue? Did she make her manager walk barefoot?
She made her manager walk with her high heels and took the manager's sneakers after taking the famous airport photos
I think it was insensitive as the manager was wearing comfortable shoes and had to switch with her. She was fast in apologizing though.
Edit: the pics bc i can't link the site

Akp is always obsessed with tearing down men lol
-
No, it's a woman
I thought she forced the male manager to wear this. I think there is no problem when the manager is a woman, she can walk comfortably in heels. Seulgi probably asked if they could change her shoes for a short time because she was injured. In such cases, Seulgi can carry spare slippers with her next time.

Girl.. the comfortable sneakers were from manager which switched shoes with her and the manager stayed with the uncomfortable high heels. Some think it's abuse of power, but I don't think it is. Regardless it wasn't a good look.
-
Id do it if only it meant I could keep the fancy shoes
-
First of all, I'm a guy if you missed my profile information below Akorns.
Well, yeah, they could have had an agreement to switch knowing the manager would be uncomfortable.
Those fans were just being stupid, I think, because they jumped to conclusions without knowing the full context.

Oh, I'm sorry. I use mobile so I can't see the information unless I go to your profile.
And yeah, it could be an agreement, but we know how idols are crucified for any little action..

Imagine if your boss came in to work in uncomfortable shoes and took your sneakers and you had to wear her heels for the day after she showed them off for 5 minutes.
This is exactly what happened and why she got criticised for it.
The excuse making is kind of lame. Like you had blisters? Okay, bring your own spare sneakers so...

I'm so f-ing DONE with SME not protecting their Idols, and especially with these jobless, brainless, low IQ idiot Knetz having too much free time in their dungeon while playing with World of Warcraft and the only thing they can do is being toxic with Idols and celebs in general.
This is not something you should apologize for. The ONE and ONLY reason Seulgi and other female Idols wearing high heels, because toxic paparazzi and so called "FANS" attack them every goddamn time at the airport, so they have to look perfect! If they don't, Knetz will crucify them for it. She hurt her ankle and has to perform later, she should've brought her own sneakers, sure, but it's not like her manager is her slave!
Like it or not, it's the job of her manager to protect her from everything! That's called a JOB, not slavery! The fact that she and many other celebs have to apologize for the dumbest shit on Earth proves that Korea is still in Joseon era.

It is weird situation, like I kinda understand them but also idk what to think. That apology letter was also worded so weirdly

Me too and I hate it
Like in my situation I wouldn't switch shoes with even a friend tbh, just if she hurt herself in the moment, but if she was hurt already and still proceed to wear uncomfortable high heels than it would be a no, my comfortable comes first
I would switch just for my mom and that's it kkkkk
-
I think there is a lot going on but I am glad she apologized. The apology letter seems vague and hard to read for some reason. Which means she actually wrote it herself.
-
-
do you even think that there is a possibility that her own company asked her to wear those shoes for sponsor/promo ? we don't even know what was happening before her appeareance at the airport.

An adult made the choice to wear heels despite blisters and didn't come with a backup option, dumb of her but nothing major. We have no idea what its like to be a idol manager in SM but... do Korean airports not have duty free or a single cloths shop in the entire building where she could buy trainers?
