I don’t think so. They have stayed very true to their concept and sound. Drama and supernova are as noisy as anything they’ve ever released and their MV’s are as maximalist as they always were.

Clearly sentiment changed in the long term not them. SM won the long game looks like.

I personally still do not like them because I’m not swayed by sentiment I don’t like the high pitched noisy music they made then and I don’t like it now. But I respect the creative team behind aespa who stuck true to their image and sound. They proved that everyone doing the same hip thing isn’t the only way to succeed.

I wonder how this will transfer. Their monthly numbers have always been what is weak. It should increase from here but stability is the most important thing. But this is a good trend. But for example NJs has had high numbers for months now even when not coming back so that’s what we are looking for. Maintaining at least above 10-12 million even during off time
