This is great but still not complete at all, they purposefully investigated from the end of 2018 to 2019 because the loudest sajaegi cases on kcharts, jang deok cheol, nilo and shaun are way spicier than this... because for real, nature flop attempt to rigging the charts and that trot singer's song that didn't crack top 50 on gaon... lol south korea is not a serious country

Also people here are not prepared to face the reality some of their fave kpop groups also used sajaegi for charts, and that this is one of the reasons kcharts are so meaningless now.

Chart manipulation has gotten out of hand in the 2020's . And this year is the worst yet to have happened in kpop history.

I suspect half of the top 10 and maybe even yearly top 10 to be full on sajaegi. and from all the compagnies, from yg to sm to starship and to hybe specially. because the most money and ressources you have to more you can pays buckets to manipulate the charts.

(that's why these compagnys lose so much money despite having so much 'popular' acts under their belt with their 'hit' songs. And yes im specially pointing to sm and hybe.)

Thing is when one act starts it, the other are almost obliged to follow because otherwise they'll just get eaten up, and not through fair competition. So they're probably like why should I compete fairly. And now it's gotten TOO far.

It has to stop.

And then they get lazy to produce quality content because they're like 'well if it flops we can use chart manipulation anyway'. And this downgrade the quality of kpop.

(The ressources are not endless of course so it's not very sustainable anyway and that's why also they can't payola all their acts.)

Artists with organic success and with lesser financial ressources or who just don't want to do sajaegi are getting stepped on. Like Idle, Day 6, Bibi. Watch all these shady songs like Blue Sparke, Magnetic, that Qwer song or Sheesh overchart them and rob them of 1st place or their ranking in the top 10. And maybe the awards end year . It's just so disrespectful to the artist but also to the public.

For example as of now, i honestly think Fate should be in the top 3 with Supernova and Spot, but there are like 3 songs above that i genuinly think are not more viral or popular with the public than Fate is.

And some of this songs in the top 10/20 would have probably not even entered the top 50 organically!

3 or 5 place might seem small, but it makes all the difference for end year awards or even the original impact the song or the artist could have on the culture/gp.

Put all the alleged frauds in the top 10 and Day6 isn't even in the top 10. While they could have been there organically for month and spark even more interest in the public and maybe even reach the top 3 spot. See the impact of sajaegi is quite heavy on organic acts!

Day6 are probably are the biggest victimes this year alongside Idle .

This current legal procedures against this alleged case of sajaegi is maybe a warning towards the whole industry. (and also towards hybe specially?)

Maybe MHJ indeed complained to the gouvernement of how corrupted and crooked the industry has gotten through chart manipulation, sales manipulation, etc. And that it has gotten out of hand and just doesn’t help kpop in the end!

Wish they exposed more from 1st to 4th gen kpop groups!
