How is possible that the best girlgroup of the 3er Gen has never act in Coachella.

Because the Americans would probably think they are selling some sort of dessert instead of a group performing.
-
Possibly unpopular opinion: festivals like Coachella are not to flex vocal/dancing skills. That's what concerts, radio shows and music shows are for.
Natural stage presence, ability to engage and hype the crowd and performing skills are the most important. A lot, if not most, kpop groups wouldn't succeed because that's somewhat antithetical to how idols are trained

Well, they sang to Kim Jong Un, at least it's something to brag about

if SM wanted to send Red Velvet to Coachella then it would have been after Blackpink in 2019.
Which means in 2020
but lets see what happened at the time and what followed after:
1: Wendy falling off the stage at the end of year performance Dec 2019
2: COVID 19 hit globally 2020
3: Irene attitude scandal Oct 2020
5: Wendy return to group Jan 2021
6: Aespa Coachella 2022
Aespa and Kwangya pop was the main focus for SM, it was a right decision to push Aespa for Coachella rather than Red Velvet. There was nothing wrong with that. Aespa was a million seller by the year 2022. Basically it makes more sense to push Aespa.
it is what it is

Lack of connection probably but nowadays it's more relaxed
More opportunities presented for many artist
