most baemon fans speculate that they were pressured to debut their group because of the pressure of investment to release something. They were actually gonna debut a lot earlier.

their debut song was said to be a intense hip hop and maybe batter up wasn't the original plan.

And the song list leaked around the time had sheesh on it. The originally scheduled for September

some fans think that they prepare sheesh as a debut song but since ahyeon got sick some assume they shifter to batter up and saved sheesh for their ot7 to re-introduce ahyeon

she was sick my friend if you watch her introduction vid she lost of a lot of weight and some of their titk tok vids when she came back too but fortunately gained her weight back. She also addressed about her health later in an interview. and while she was absent some fan spotted her with her mom at a restaurant and also mentioned how thin she was back then

I remember that they had to debut BM even with Ahyeon on hiatus to cover up any noise of YHS court sentence.

they were never gonna promote the song it was said there were not promotions

YGE had a cash-flow issue, because BP renewed as a group about 2 weeks before BMs debut. They had to fork out 30 million.

This release it seems like they are more organised.

I look forward to the next couple of weeks. Its going to get crazy. We will see in the next 12 months how YGE created BP.

ok I couldn't find it before ( my bad) but I remember the timing was bad because some music shows were cancelled in November and after their release they said there were no plans for music shows promotions ( it made sense since some music shows were cancelled around the time) some people thought the timing of their debut was bad as it was already and they were already talking about their follow up so I'm guessing for stuck in the middle. They also didn't promote stuck in the middle either. I think they were waiting for ahyeon to get better to be added to the group and tbh she is way more popular than other members. She has the most fansites and Korean fans I see it and she trends more her fancams get a lot more views than other members.

I think it could be bcuz of ahyeon trying to leave YG or actually left? There were reports she was seen in Cube. Also I find it weird when they released contents during Batter Up era, no one mentioned ahyeon's name even for once. Usually, if there's a member that was sick, they'd give shout out to that member even when she's not present physically
