Many people dont get it. How serious it was. Wayv was on a serious trajectory to success but the Lucas incident really casted a very black mark on them. All of them were badly affected by him, career put on hold and with uncertainty. Its really sad. I still don't really know what it is true in this scandal and what is not as I don't know the details about it.

BUT there's one thing for sure: WayV dragged with him because of the scandal. WayV had to go into hiatus for months, a subunit didn't get to see the light because of it. All of this when they were doing well.

I don't really know the reason why SM kept him (probably something to do with contracts), but it's clear that SM did full on damage control with the public with his documentary.

I'm able to separate personal life from professional and my judgement isn't cloud by what he's accused off. I listened only to renegade and i find it boring. The only part i really like is post chorus, the rest is meh. Maybe the rest of his album is better.

Either way, its low key hilarious how little buzz his debut made despite how desperate they have been to push him. Sending him to every SM idol concert, a documentary, two MV's, a tour and all for what? less than 20k sales, no charting and not even 3 million views conbined across the two MV's. Even dropping it on April fools with a weird British accent and him transforming into a weird stuart little esque rat couldn't save it from tanking.
