4th gen out dances and out preforms 3rd gen

It depends on the 3rd gen group and the 4th gen group that you're comparing but yes, in some cases that is true

and are you claiming that those groups you mentioned out perform some 3rd gen groups or all 3rd gen groups?

Outdances? Maybe, but that’s because most 4th gen groups lip synch and focuses on choreo. Outperform? Absolutely not. Performing is much more than dancing. And stage presence is much more than overdancing. And also, singing is part of the performance, so if their mics aren’t on, is it still a performance?

Better dance wise? Probably yes. It is same as saying "3rd gen" are better dancers than "2nd gen". Because dancing has only improved in kpop over the years so no point made by saying this in the OP.

Better performance wise? Clearly no.

Because most of these "4th gen" groups don't even perform live. They need to start performing live to out perform the previous "generations".

Imo ATEEZ stage presence is better than 99% of 3rd gen

anyway i agree with this statement, 4th gen groups may have worse, quite unoriginal music but overall their stage presence, dancing and rapping are extremely good

I can agree on the dancing part overall. But I still think the best dancers in 3rd gen >> best dancers in 4th gen with maybe an exception in the chae sisters. At least for male dancers, if I were to make a top ten list, I think every single one of them would be 3rd gen (maybe one 2nd). But that also has a lot to do with age and experience more than anything else.

Agree that 4th gen groups are good at performing, don't know about being better than 3rd gen though

And they can sing too.

Even though I'm not necessarily a 4th gen fan, I can admit that their dancing, performances and stage presence is generally better than most 3rd gen groups.
