Why UL's are irrelevant? Those numbers are actually REAL, unlike the usual numbers we see. I'm not sure about TWICE farms, but I'm 100% sure about Blackpink streaming farms, and BTS too, I saw it happening. Not saying 100% of their numbers came from mass streamers, but most of them are.
I mean, it's simple math. Just look at Jisoo's FLOWER MV. 400M views in 6 months. Meaning 65M views every month, that's 2M views every day for half a year. After 6 months, it was over, and she only gained 70M views since then. The MV is almost 1 year old so she gained 10M views or so, every month.
For comparison, look at IU and Moonbyul's new MV. Both came out in the same day, February 20.
Or look at Hwasa's Maria MV. There's a lot of other MV, btw, I just don't want to do more research, I don't have that much time. 🤣 Hwasa gained more than 300M views after 3 YEARS! Meaning, people listened to her songs "nonstop" for 3 years. Also, neither of these 3 MV had big promotions before the release.
I'm too tired to do the math for these 3 MV too, but I'm sure you'll get my point.
For the record, I couldn't care less about streaming stats or charts. Sure, I love to see my faves doing good, but I don't really care. I only care about great Music.
