Are Jungkook and Chaewon friends?

    Disclaimer! I am only curious if they are FRIENDS because Jungkook is rarely seen hanging out with FEMALE friends.


    She is going viral now because of her Smart fancam so I was surprised to see so many comments from obviously my side of stan twitter that were hyping her. And some of the comments brought the multiple occasions of both interacting in a friendly manner to each other. From Chaewon recommending a lot of Jungkooks' music and even a movie he reccommend and Jungkook feeling comfortable commenting on tiktok posts relating to her 2 times knowing he's shipped with everything that has a pulse (men and women). I would like to believe that he doesn't give a hoot anymore and finally has a female idol friend. Because it's very rare. We only hear and see about the dudes.

    From female friends I get reminded of how JK attended that IU and Seojoon film screening with Tae, where Han So Hee was also spotted in their company as she was with Wooga...and then 3 months later she is starring in Seven...I would think she is Jungkook's female friend too.

    I know there's a different perspective in the West because westerners love to assume certain stuff is involved every time a man and a woman get together, but it doesn't work that way in Asian countries.


    I know JK gets around, but he definitely isn't doing that with his colleagues. Western K-pop fans love to project their own behaviors onto Asian idols without considering the cultural nuances. ;(

    Wait you think labelmates do not date in kpop?? I mean Taeyeon and Baekhyun and many other examples exist...not that I seriously think these two are dating but the discussion does not have anything to do with West or Asia, its human biology or chemistry, east or west, its the same.

    I was thinking of hookups since Polarize insinuated that. Hookup culture isn't as prevalent in the East as it is in the West. I just don't see JK doing that with his colleagues given the circumstances, but I know he's more open to it outside that world. That's the only reason why I brought up East and West.


    Dating is a different story. The chances of labelmates dating are higher, especially if they see each other frequently. It's the same as how it is with any physical environment where people see each other often and inevitably get to know each other.

    Not implying anything but both are centers (and main vocalists) of their respective groups, have abs, amazing dancers and singers. That means they can relate to each other a lot and they're also working with the same Bighit team. They should at least be on friendly terms with each other. :eyes:
