Terrible take, over 95% of the tickets BB sold were in asia (7.4/7.6 million), out of which over 90% came from 3 countries - Japan, China & Korea (6.9/7.4m). In fact Japan counts for around 70% of BB's total touring attendance (5.4/7.6m)
While BP do tour heavily in Asia, they also tour extremely well in the US and Europe, their attendance in SEA is also insane. They are a much more global group than BB ever where and they don't rely on a few specific markets to tour in.
All I'm going to say about BTS is when they finally tour in 2026 they'll prove why they're the only truly global group in kpop. They very well could just do 60 dates in Japan & the US (their biggest markets) and forget about the rest of the world, they'd get 3m attendance from just that after all, but they won't do that because they have global demand and they can tour anywhere in the world and still sell out stadiums comfortably, they're not restricted to just a few markets

I see what you're saying but I don't see why it matters how spread out the attendees are across the globe. 1.5 million people went to see BigBang right before kpop was about to blow up globably and Blackpink could only get 300k more people in 2023 the biggest kpop year ever?
