It all sounds the same and hasn't innovated it's sound since when? 1950?

I don’t like American country music although I didn’t mind a bit of Glen Campbell. I like some Australian country music but it’s not my favourite genre.

I used to think that too when I was younger. I still dislike country music, but I respect it as a genre.

I do like some country artists like Little Big Town, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood coz they have some bops but I'm not a fan of the whole genre.

Fleetwood Mac is rock, not country.

When rock died, modern "bro" country was the only refuge for folks like me. That guitar driven sound backing anthemic power ballads and good ol country rockers. And some of these modern country crossovers are better than 99% of the crap you hear on the Hot 100.
