NewJeans are the first girl group in 12 years to top both the Artist of the Year and Song of the Year Gallup Year End Poll

Yeah, I wasn't going to make a thread but screw that. This is yet another NJ achievement that hasn't happened since before I was even into K-Pop. And again, the last group to do this was SNSD.

So cheers BunniesTaglist !!! Don't let anyone anywhere at anytime try to gaslight you into believing the year NJ just had wasn't one of the single best years in K-Pop history (spoiler: I'm revisiting this later) or that NJ aren't in a class of their own in Korea.

Nope! Granted, most of 3rd generation was blocked by BTS, but there was a run from probably 2015 to 2017 where a girl group still had a shot, before BTS completely took over as the undisputed top group in K-Pop.
