I wonder if it's only for the rap part. Usually idols who write their raps are only credited in the lyrics, not composing too. But I think in the case of boxnextdoor for example, the rappers are also credited in the composition for their raps. So idk

its probably the rap part too. coz alot of kpop song kinda swith up the beat too during the rap part. just like alot of treasure songs.

I dont think so because she wrote some of the lyrics in her monthly evaluations performance, YG even showed one of her composed song in the show. That girl just has legit talent!

he is don't be fooled by this.... He was controlling with CL too and we know she can write only in 2ne1's last album she got credits. Baemon is targeted as a talented group ( pushing them as he did it with boy groups) so it makes sense he is letting a member have credits

I'm excited, At least YG is letting their girl groups write lyrics/compose their songs. hopefully, they keep this up with babymonster. it's nice for them to be included in the production of their songs (but honestly I don't expect much from YG, this will probably be a rare thing).

if you ever watched some YG's survival shows all Yg groups are required to write their rap parts, pick their songs and also even arrange their own choreo for their monthly evaluation. For example, sure thing which bp covered Jennie and lisa wrote their rap parts.
